Native Blood

Native Blood: It is ironic that I started this work prior to embarking on my cancer journey. My intent was to celebrate my Native Blood, and to take-to-task the lateral oppression divisiveness such as Rez versus non-Rez, urban versus rural, dark-skin versus light-skin, and so on. Colonization failed to make us less-than. We are still here. Native Blood is diverse, resilient and enduring. I am Native. I am resilient. I am still here.
